Acts 7 ate 9 (why are all the numbers afraid of 7?)

Wow, Acts is awesome!!! Why is the book called Acts?
Chapter 7 questions to ponder while reading:
1. Did Stephen seem to be bothered that he was being killed by being hit with hurdling rocks of all sizes (some where as big as watermelons and grape fruits, while others where the size of a skittle (I could be stoned by Skittles all day!)??
2. What was the "last straw" the caused the listeners to become murderers?
3. Why did they mention, that Saul, (who was there and authorizing the death of Stephen) was "young"?

Chapter 8
Ponder ponder over yonder (I said that  because it rhymes).
1.Was Paul becoming more powerful in his mission to destroy early church? Where did he get this authority and power from?
2.Did Peter talk a little rough to Simon the sorcerer? Why did Simon seemed scared of Peter (8:14)
3. Think about a majic trick, they are illusions, but in verse 39, Peter actually disappears...poof, gone. Why didnt God just let Peter journey on to Azotus (v. 40)? Why did he "transport" him?

Chapter 9
I call this chapter "The most formidable enemy become the most powerful ally"
1. What in the world could change Pauls mind so drastically, was it tourture? A long debate? Was it a great salvation message? Was it a bible track?
2. How long did it take to get Paul to "change" his mind?
3. "You Dork"! What happened to the poor dork (Dorkus)? Do you believe the Lord might use you to raise some one from the dead some day?
